I’m ending my third week of Hammer and Chisel and I have to say… I am so happy I started this program! 💕
I’m not just saying this… I’m honestly happy I’ve started this 60 day program. I have not weighed myself since I like to measure my fitness on how I feel and how my clothes fit, but for the first time today I looked at my stomach and went “Damn.” haha. It has never been this flat and tone in my entire life!
The program looked very overwhelming in the beginning, but it’s really just pretty awesome. I just purchased heavier weights because my 8 lb dumbells were becoming too easy.
I’m so excited to see what the next few weeks has in store and where I’ll be at the end of the 60 days!
Please join me in participating in my first ever accountability group hosted by me, myself and I!
– Want help staying on track with fitness?
– Need help staying motivated to work out?
– Want to be part of a group where everyone has the same goals as and are working on improving their lives?
– Want to participate in a program that is proven to change your life forever?
If any of these apply to you then you need to join this group! 😜
I will be participating in the 21 Day Fix and I’d like to encourage others to join in too, though it’s not a requirement, as this program has changed my life and I want it to change yours too!
Please message me for more details and all are welcome!
Motivational tips, recipes, workouts, plus more will be shared during these 21 days and daily check ins are required. I’m not doing it to be mean, that’s how we’ll all continue to motivate each other and make sure everyone’s participating! 😀
Even though I’m focusing on health and fitness doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy life. Today was spent at Malibu Wines and I loved every minute of it. It was wonderful hanging out with friends and meeting new people. 😀
Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying life.
Never give up on reaching your goals! The jounrey may be slow but slow and steady always wins the race!
I was very unsure about Hammer and Chisel during the first week. I was still getting used to a new program and I wasn’t sweating as much as I thought I should’ve been after each workout.
Now that I’m in the second week, I’m realized just how tough this program is… The chisel workouts are by far my favorite and I’ve learned how to modify the workouts because I don’t have a chin up bar or a weight bench.
It’s my second week and I’m sore, tired and just want to rest, but I’m determined to push through to the next rest day on thursday. I’ll only regret resting and not doing the best I can during these 60 days! 🙂
More often than not you’ll find success rather than failure if you put forth the effort. 🙂
This week was my second week of meal prepping with Blue Apron and I believe it’s been another successful cooking day!
Three recipes complete and lots of yummy food prepped for this week.
- Pork Tteokbokki with Asparagus and Spicy Black Bean Sauce
- Grains of Paradise – Crusted Steak with Mashed Plantain, Collard Greens and Ginger Peanuts
- Spring Chicken Fettuccine with sautéed Asparagus, Kale and Rosemary
I can’t wait to try these throughout the week!
Today, I struggled to get out of bed. I wanted nothing more than to sleep for another few hours, but I’m so glad I pushed myself to get up. I was up early and at Spinning class by 9:15 and I came home and immediantly did my first round of Chisel Endurance. Boy… was it tough to do after spinning but I loved every minute of it. It’s the best workout I’ve come accross so far in the Hammer and Chisel program. It’s taken while, but I’m learning how to motifiy the workouts as I don’t have a workout bench or a pull up bar.
I’m glad I pushed myself to work out this morning. You’ll never regret a workout, but you’ll always regret not pushing yourself to reach your full potentional. 😄
I finished my hour and a half workout with a delicious cherry vanilla shakeology shake. It was so yummy and also the healthiest meal of the day! ☺️
