I’ve taken a moment to step back from my fitness journey and live life to the fullest, but now I’m back, running full speed ahead. The journey I’ve started with BeachBody is absolutely wonderful and I love every minute of it, but sometimes you need to take life’s opportunities and run with them. I never stopped completely, just took a moment to slow down and breathe… And I have to say it was awesome and I have no regrets. I was able to explore new areas, visit some old places, that I hold dear to my heart, and just overall relax.
I’ve come a long way with embracing my healthier lifestyle and the changes I’ve made stuck with me this time, yes I did splurg every now and then, but I never went crazy as I have in the past. For the first time in my life, I feel as if I’m building a healthy habit and I’m loving every minute of the journey.
I’ve jumped back into the extreme and I don’t feel as if I’ve skipped a beat! The 21 day fix and the 21 day fix extreme are killer workouts that prepare you for anything live throws your way. 🙂 💕

I bet people are wondering why the blog is called Coffee Toffee and Fitness and well for those of you who don’t know me… I really love my coffee and I can’t go a day without it.
Just the other day, I went without coffee until 2 pm. At 1 pm I could feel the dreaded withdrawl headache starting. Caffeine is a serious drug… and a really hard habbit to kick.
I’m not the type who likes starbucks, though I’ll drink it when it’s the only thing around, I definitely prefer Peet’s over anything else.
My love for coffee all started when I found myself commuting 1 1/2 – 2 hours to work every morning. Thank you LA traffic! 😦 And my need and love for coffee has not fallen since, it’s very rare to find me without a cup of joe in my hand. 🙂
Porto’s iced coffee is also rather delicious, and it’s a very nice treat to have when I’m up in Burbank. I really don’t want to know what goes into making it so delicious though… :0
Today, was the first day of the accountability group I’m co-hosting with my coach. I’m so excited to get to be given this oppourtinity to partner up with her, to run my first of many groups.
So far, we have a great group of girls from all over the US and I’m excited to have all of them with us during this 60 day journey. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and see the results at the end of the 60 days!!!

Day 1 – Complete ❤
Yesterday, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. Meal prep isn’t the easiest thing to do, but it’s so worth it in the end. I love having meals ready immediantly when I want them. Helps me stay on target and not reach for the easy junk food.

My health and fitness goals will always be a priority in life, but there are some things I will never give up. Boba is definitely one of those things.
The drink in the picture isn’t all that bad for you (I hope.) It’s a Matcha Boba Shake from the local Asian market. From what I’ve heard Matcha is a very healthy, and in my option, delicious form of green tea. Several Matcha drinks out there have lots of cane sugar added, but I don’t believe this one does and that’s why I love it!
I do my best to follow a healthy diet but no ones perfect and sometimes you just have to reach for the Boba. 🙂

Yesterday, I started my second round of the 21 Day Fix Extreme.
I’m setting some goals for the next 21 Day:
- Less modifications
- Active during the entire minute…
- Less breaks
- Focus on my core and flattening my tummy.
- Be the best person I can be and a great role model for my first accountability group!
During my first round, I was resting way more than I actually need to and my goal this time is to push through no matter what gets in my way. My body is much stronger than my mind thinks it is, just look at the picture of my arm from Friday. I’m still shocked I have some muscle! In case you missed it, Parties, Tattoos and Changes
I really need to push myself and no longer make excuses. I can’t wait to see what this next round has in store for me, and I’m excited to figure out my next step in my fitness journey after this round is complete.
I never thought there would be a good or bad time to drink coffee. I can’t live without the stuff and there’s no such thing as too much in my book. 😛

The before picture is from the very beginning, before a round of 21 Day Fix, and the after is after one round of the 21 Day Fix Extreme.
So much has changed during the past 42 days, way more than I ever could’ve imagined. Not only am I a little lighter, my hair is a little lighter too. 😛 But seriously, I’m mentally and physically stronger and it’s the greatest feeling in the world. I’m so happy I began this journey and this is by far not the end. I plan on another round of the 21 Day Fix Extreme and my new goals for the round will do less modifiers and take less breaks. I’ll continue spinning and do my best to keep up with daily walks to reach my goal of 10,000 steps per day.
So, my company had a little party outside and just for fun a co-worker started drawing “tattoos” on people. Here’s mine.
After taking the picture, I sent it to my mother to show her what work “did to me…” and after taking another look at the photo on the iMessage screen, my first thought was… damn… Where did that muscle come from!?!?!?!
That muscle was never that defined before in my life. I really have to thank my coach, BeachBody, 21 day fix and the 21 day fix extreme for whipping me into shape. I’m loving all the pluses that come along with making positive changes to your life. 🙂 ❤
