Blue Apron | I’m learning to cook!


I’m loving this Blue Apron service and I can’t talk about it enough! Not only am I saving money, by not wasting food, but I’m also learning how to cook new things I’ve never thought about cooking before in my life. Gone are the days of stressing to find a good recipe on Pinterest before the weekend. Gone are the days of trying to find a store that carries what I need and gone are the days of buying one jar of spice to use a tsp and letting the rest sit in a cabinet for years! 😄

The most recent thing I made, that I never thought I would, is a soft boiled egg. Damn was that thing yummy! I’ve never been confident in my cooking abilities in the past, but this service has given me a new found confidence that I wouldn’t trade in for the world. 💕

Meal Prep Sunday | Blue Apron Round 2

This week was my second week of meal prepping with Blue Apron and I believe it’s been another successful cooking day! 

Three recipes complete and lots of yummy food prepped for this week. 

  • Pork Tteokbokki with Asparagus and Spicy Black Bean Sauce
  • Grains of Paradise – Crusted Steak with Mashed Plantain, Collard Greens and Ginger Peanuts
  • Spring Chicken Fettuccine with sautéed Asparagus, Kale and Rosemary

I can’t wait to try these throughout the week!
